The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) has filed a disciplinary complaint against the Ernst & Young auditor responsible for auditing Airbus's financial statements for 2019. According to the AFM, the auditor did not take sufficient action to obtain the necessary audit evidence regarding fraud risks relating to non-compliance with US laws and regulations, as well as bribery, corruption, and anti-money laundering.

A hearing was held by the Accountants' Chamber (Accountantskamer) on 28 November 2025. The Foundation and its attorney were present at the hearing. A decision is expected in February 2026.
